Hi Everyone and Happy 2018. I decided to use another one of my long-expired rolls of Ektar 25 in 120 size. It has been frozen for 20+ years, but I am not sure if it is all right. In the past, I preferred to use Ektar 25 in gloomy, overcast, or wet light. We have had some winter weather here in Mississippi, so I loaded the roll in my Hasselblad. All the examples below are tripod-mounted with the mirror pre-released, exposures 1/2 to 1/8 sec, light measured with a Gossen Luna-Pro Digital meter in incident mode at ISO 25.
Arcadia Place, Vicksburg. These are typical shotgun houses, early 20th century.

Stouts Bayou, which runs through Vicksburg. The concrete channel was made in the 1920s and has received barely any maintenance since then.

Stouts Bayou from Lee Street, Vicksburg. For you non-USA readers, this is an example of what is happening to our infrastructure.

You have a good eye for subject matter. These are the type of home-town photos I love.

The Ektar 25 has lasted well.

i got expired rotary 25 back from the lab once and it was opaque blue.. very little info was present. any ideas?

I still have a big stash of ektar 25 and Royal Gold 25. Need to use it again sometime soon.

I really like the look.
The film pallette is very nice.

I have a few rolls of this in the freezer. It's a bit too slow for my style but maybe I'll give it a go this summer.
