Just got the email yesterday that my backorder has shipped from Adorama! So Kodak beat their estimate of availability by a couple of weeks.

Maybe someone will seize the moneymaking opportunity to repackage it in 50 sheet boxes... at a small markup of course :smile:

Isn't the whole idea behind a larger package lower cost? Or are you being ironic? Is my post ironic? I'm losing it...

Yes, I'm being silly. With all the talk recently of post-processing film and paper from the remaining available sizes and formats, I figured someone could jump in here and seize this obvious gap in the market for bigger boxes. Only problem is, as you noted, it wouldn't follow the normal pricing structure. But hey, if people want 50 sheet boxes, someone could supply them with 50 sheet boxes!

Has anyone done reciprocity tests ( with 35mm or 120) with this stuff? Kodak's pdf recommends doing them yourself! I don't know about you guys who shoot 8x10 but exposures over 1 second are commonplace and I'd rather not test it myself.

Here's a recent discussion about reciprocity failure of Ektar 100;
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

It seems that it's quite ok up to about 1 minute by correcting time and after that you'll get too severe problems with color.
