I've processed my first Efke PL100 4x5 in my B/W slide process today, and i'm surprised to see the back side has a satin aspect and is not brillant .
I've processed many rolls of 35mm Efke 100 before and have never seen that .
Maybe the support is not brillant ? normal ? yes ? no ? sometime ?
Thanks for help

The texture on the back is for retouching usually. Anyone can correct me if they are more familiar with this film.

This is true of many large format films. It is a retouching surface.
