I have read seom post where people said they used it or at least that is how I understood it.

Does anyone know when it will be available in the US or to the US?

Thanks,

Kev

Hi Kev,

the film I think you're looking for is (Adox/Efke) CHM400. It exists in 35mm and in 120. In the US, J and C have the 35mm format, I can't find the 120 format (http://www.jandcphoto.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=93).

as I'm in Europe, I usually order from www.fotoimpex.de and they also list the 120 CHM 400 film (1.90 Euros a piece + taxes). I've never tried the CHM400 though.

hope this helps,
dirk

Hi,
I've used this film a number of times. It's actually made in the UK and, from what I can deduce, it is exactly the same as I***o*d H*5+. The advantage is that it is a little bit cheaper.

Dear Simon,

I'm happy to stand corrected, but the Adox (Dead Link Removed)and the Retrophotographic web sites certainly suggest that your excellent firm has more than a little to do with said product.

Kind regards

There have been posts here by folks in Europe who have used it.

None in the US that I'm aware.

Simon ILFORD Photo / HARMAN technology Limited

The massive development chart lists Adox the same as HP5 with identical times.

Dear Jack,

Perhaps if I phrased it as such...a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away
it would be better.

Kind Regards

Simon.

Simon,

Ahh... I get the drift - that explains everything.

Kind and enlightened regards
