Just before I disabled my darkroom for some remodeling, I bought a batch of EFKE 25, 35mm film. I never got a developer/time combination that I was satisfied with. I'm about to get the DR up and running again and I would like to be able to use this film without testing every combiation out there. Does anyone have a combination they are using that will tame this stuff and give a relatively normal scale? Long term goal - enlarged negatives for Pd/Pl printing.

TIA
Bob

EFKE R50: Neofin Blue (Beutler): 6 minutes at 21°C for low contrast (for condensor enlarger). I like 8 minutes better - a truly wonderful combination.

For the 25, 5 to 6 minutes should give good results.
