Efficiently archiving all your negatives

Hi,

I have a, what I consider pretty decent, archival method. Every roll goes into one sleeve that is numbered sequencially.
I have scans of every roll in Lightroom with each sleeve of film having it's own folder. All images are tagged with the sleeve number they belong to (+ some other tags).
that makes it easy finding the negatives I want when I go print in the darkroom.

Folders of negatives start piling up and I am looking for a way to reduce what I archive.
My 35mm film is cut into strips of 6 frames. Lot's of times I have no keeper on a strip but I keep all strips belonging to the same roll anyhow. I am thinking of only keeping film strips that contain keepers. that would drastically reduce the film I store, but make it much harder to tag and file my film.

I personally would not discard any negatives. I have found that revisiting negatives after some months or years sometimes provides images that were first missed. Once you discard a negative it is gone forever.
