Here's a series eclipse photos. This is at the Painted Hills in Oregon. I want to show how dramatically the light had changed during totality.
These have taken me some time to put together since my film had been lost in the mail for quite awhile, and these images turned out to be very difficult to work with. I'm using a Nikon Coolscan 9000, and the dynamic range exceed what it could handle, so I had to do some work arounds. There's a lot more detail that can be pulled out of the highlights. Eventually I'll send these out to be drum scanned.
These were taken with a Fujica G690 with a 50mm lens, using Portra 400. The totality shot was 4 seconds at f5.6.
