For clarification: this is not my camera, I am selling it for a friend who does not really use computers. He is a long friend of Hiromi at Ebony and has had a number of 4x5, 8x10, and 11x14 cameras made for him. These are unique pieces, where anything Hiromi deems unnecessary is shed to reduce as much weight as possible.

This is based off a 45SW model, non folding 4x5. As you can see it has been drilled extensively. This is a unique, one of a kind camera.

Asking Price is 3500 USD

Quite interesting but, Do you have weights for this model and a regular, non drilled one?
In other words, What was the real wight saving?

Camera weighs 2.4 lbs, I believe the stock camera is 4lbs

i have been following this camera for some time, it has been out of my price range but have been saving my money since i live on a fixed income.i shoot medium format now but desire to move up. can you ask your friend if he would go down to 2500usd it is all i got i can pay paypal fees and shipping on top of the offer if we can can the total under 3000usd. payment can be done this weekend i am not a reseller or flipper jus a 4th gen serious amemtur and a bad speller thanks warrenbruce @warrenbb55@hotmail.com
