No reason they won't work. The ones you've linked to mount Pentacon MF lenses onto a 35mm body. Since the focus depth on those lenses is much more than most 35's, infinity focus should be fine. The same seller also has versions that use 35mm lenses, but he states those are for macro use only, and cannot focus to infinity.

That coverage and infinity focus is the reason why MF lenses are used for it.
And be aware that wide angle views are not possible with them, so they are no replacement for a 35mm shift lens.

You could get as wide as 30mm with an Arsat 30mm. They usually go for under $300

They are full -frame fisheyes on 6x6 cameras. On a 35mm camera the barrel distortion wil not be as noticable.

What are those figures at that adapter indicating? The degree of friction?

The figures on the scale represent the millimetres of shift applied. The ones that do tilt as well will be marked with the degrees of tilt.
