Eastman Kodak 5234 developed in Cinestill Monobath DF96

Developed for 4 minutes @ 75. 30 second initial agitation, then 10 seconds on the minute, 1 extra turn at the 30 second mark. DF seems prone to bromide drag through the sprocket holes unless that is done.

Shot with a Rollei QZ35W P&S which allows manual ISO settings down to ISO 6.

Of note: the film was bought already rolled at 36 exp. It was short - only 34. And it was very tight - the last few frames taxed the motor and the spacing became very narrow. And the emulsion seemed damaged - lots of tiny white spots that were not from dust or development (had not seen this issue with any other films I have processed).
I have 5 rolls left, but if the others are short and damaged like this one, then I've lost interest in it. Which would be a bummer as I like the results.

Also - it turned the DF96 green. It was a new bottle, hope it is still ok!

That's a sharp film, the tones are very natural, wonder how a contrast filter will affect the tones. I have roll, was going to shoot it but the monsoons are weak this year, sky is empty and dull. I know that the anti-halation layer on some Foma films are green. I was going to process in ID 3 as a divided developer.

People have mentioned washing the film first to get rid of the green. Problem is I am using reusable Monobath developer, and some of that water would get into the developer diluting it.
So not sure if that is a good idea.

As long as the film is not green, don't worry about the green in the developer. It is unlikely to hurt anything.
