Early Rectigraph Lens --design?

Ive just aquired a rectigraph lens 16" approx and f9 in a wollensak shutter
cant find much mention of this lens anywhere,its patent date of '95 ,
appears to be symmetrical--any ideas on design /coverage ,aperture and shutter damaged

Not in the early days they were.

No, seriously. The rectigraph will be hard to identify if it's not described inside the book it's lying on, the LVM. I'll put in my $0.02 and throw a small searching party.

The Rectipgraph gets mentioned there as a Lancaster type lens, manufactured around the period you mentioned. Perhaps this is a lead?

And you must have found out yourself as well that the Rectigraph company made early photocopiers - but a lot later than 1895.

yes ,I forgot to mention that its a Gundlach lens,but I dont think its the rapid rectigraph(convertible),Ive got an old Grundlach catalogue from 1915 ,and its not directly mentioned in that ,it may just be a version of the TR symmetrical anastigmat .
