I have an early Canon reloadable 35mm cassette. It is made for the early rangefinders like the Canon ii/iv and Leica III.
It seems to fit my Canon ii. But does not fit my Canon VL or the P. The late Canon rangefinders seem to have a linkage made for these types of cassettes but the for is not even close.
Questions:
Is there another cassette made for the later cameras? And will they fit the earlier cameras as well?
Are they interchangable with the Leica bodies?
How do I load them? I have a watson bulk loader and it does not seem to work properly.
I can tell you that Canon made two series of film cassettes for their rangefinders, one for the bottom-loading cameras, like your Canon II; and another for the back-loading cameras like the VT, L-series, 7, 7s etc. The back-loading cassettes are labeled "Canon V film cassettes." I have no experience with loading them.
