I just dropped off a roll of Ektar 100 at London Drug here in Calgary. I note hey have a big display stating they do E6 processing and slide mounting. In addition they are featuring the prints of a local artist on display and are encouraging others to apply for the same privilege.
A few months ago (or maybe 6+ months ago) I got my E6 back from the Mount Royal London Drugs in less than a week, so at least at that time they still had a working E6 machine.

enough to make you nostalic for the 1970s. Place I worked at in Nepean, had a pickup to a lab in Montreal every day around 5PM. Slides came back Next day at 5PM. Ektachrome or Anscochrome it did not matter, they came back in a day. (Weekends excepted) those were the days.
I've been doing my own (I don't mind doing it, I use the 6-bath Fuji kit in a Jobo) but I'll have to try them out. When I take Ektar to the Royal Oak location they are usually excited to see some 'good stuff'. Do you know if they do push processing with C41 (in particular, CineStill)? I forgot to ask last time I was there.
I've been getting my Ektar done at London Drugs in Red Deer for a few years now, but it frequently seems washed out (even with lots of different camera brands and lenses). So I'm wondering if McBain might be able to give the colors more punch.
As for E6, McBain still sends it (and B&W) to Vancouver.

Sorry. Never mind. I've been looking back at some of the other rolls with different camera brands, and although my recent Oly roll was very washed out -- and it had sat in the camera for about a year -- the same subject with a Contax camera had a fair amount of punch. And the Nikon and Leica results were somewhere in between.
Do we have a western or all Canadian sub group on the site? It seems that we have a bit more difficulties sourcing out things, unless we use US outfits. Would be great to share intel.
