I have found Kodak Technical documents explaining processing C-41 film in E-6 chemistry.

Does anyone know of any mfr's document explaining that E-6 film processed in C-41 chemistry will not harm the processor's chemistry?

Local 1-hour labs have no clue. I'd rather not blind-side them. One said they can tell by looking at the film. Can they, or do they think they are just going to read the label?

If they can tell from an A-H coating or otherwise, a document would be a nice backup.

If I bring them 35mm bulk-loaded E6, in unmarked cartridges, will they be none the wiser? I usually just get film processed & sleeved then scan at home.

Thanks

Murray, I'm pretty sure that Kodak has a tech bulletin, or it's in Z-131, the gist is about 10% or less won't affect the line, though if you can make friends and find out when they're dumping and refilling, that would be the ideal time to do it, right before they dump.

if its a huge quantity of E-6 in C-41 then the rep rate must be changed accordingly. say a pro band photographer has shot 50 rolls and its a small machine then your going to notice. At least a lab I once worked it did.
