If that is true, then processing at 75F using the E4 chemistry minus the harmful chemicals (prehardener, neutralizer, and reversal chemical in the CD (then using light reversal)), and using the E3 times should do the trick.
I've sent Scott the E3 formulae it's far easier to get the chemicals and there's no difference in results, anyway any E4 film is decades old .
It's the E4 reversal agent TBAB that's particularly toxic, it's the toxicity of handling the raw chemical, it was deemed hazardous in the commercial E4 chemistry. Yes it can be left ut and you just add a reversal step to light as in E3.
