Hello all,

I'm wondering if anybody tried to "dust proof" the old 80/2.8 Planar for the Hasselblad (mine is a 80 T*, with mobile DOF indicators).

I took it once to the "Merry Go Round" shop, and came back with a grindy aperture ring. The repairman told me a found a grain of sand in the mechanism !

I thought I could put some clear plastic on top of the two large opeings, has this ever been tempted ? (Just wondering : did they use the same lenses on the Moon ?)

There's no wind and I don't remember any of them being dropped.
Besides it was just a studio in Ca and they'd just send it out if they did. =)
