Hello
I've recently bought a Durst U70 Enlarger which seems to be in very good shape, so I'm planning to use it beside my m601. Unfortunately I can't find how to focus correctly, or recalibrate the focus. There are 2 knobs and one lever that seem related to focusing, but I can't immagine exactly how.I'm desperately looking for his manual on the internet but still haven't found one yet..
It came with a 50mm in a durst seimar and 80mm with a setopla.
Is there anybody so kind to share a pdf, or a link of the manual, or somebody who has as an idea of it works and could explain how to solve my dilemma?
Thanks to all
Marco

I can't help with the manual. Aside of a few photos of it which I once downloaded, I am clueless.
I even wonder why you want to substitute your M601 by a U70, which as only advantage seems to yield the bigger format of 6x9 over 6x6 (which of course is a argument...).

Just some photos from ebay offers, to give me an idea what that enlarger is about, by lack of manual or broshure.

Hi, thanks, unfortunately the thread doesn't solve my questions about autofocus..
I'm wondering if similar enlargers(like unomat or d659) act in a similar way..
The lower knob moves only the column..
The lever moves up and down the head, and keep the focus costant.
There's another knob linked to a spring, which moves the head only and therefore the focus, but you can't stop it in a fixed position.
I've never used an autofocus enlarger, so I have very no idea what the procedure can be..
