Want to Buy Durst semi-sunk lens board

I'm looking for a Durst Seipla 7539. A sunk lens board for Durst enlargers. Is for a 75 mm lens.
I found a company selling them (Stone Mills Company) but they are out of stock. And eBay has none (at the moment).

I have that lensboard (Setopla in the eBay link) and the 75mm Nikkor and would be happy to check the combination on my Durst 139 if that would help. It would just have to wait until I make a print that I've got set up right now (hopefully done this evening).

I did check my 75 Nikkor a the flat board the other day (after the previous thread) and got the same result as you. Some 75's set the center of the lens farther back from the mounting threads, so don't need as much recess on the board.

I may have an extra Seipla, but the shipping is a nuisance from the US. Hopefully Durst can provide one from the link given above if you aren't interested in the eBay lensboard.

If you need the Setopla board the plastic, Siriotub version is also available from Durst for only $12, much less than the one on eBay!

I went ahead and tried the variations I have since I hadn't entirely finished setting up for the negative I'm working on.

My 75mm Nikkor is the older style with white lettered f/stop markings, not the "N" version with illuminated f/stops (I think they made an N version of that lens). I doubt it will make a difference, but some combinations are close (barely adequate), so wanted to mention that.

Setopla is approx 15 mm recess compared to the standard flat boards.
Seipla is approx 3 cm recess (as ic-racer already mentioned).

With my Nikkor 75 on the Setopla at approx 10x I have about 8mm of bellows draw (so could go a bit larger).

With the Seipla in the same setup I have about 23 mm of bellows draw (as you would expect)

I slightly prefer the shallower Setopla since the f stop ring sticks out past the front of the lensboard, but it is not really a problem with the Seipla (you can just reach in with your fingers and count clicks).

If you are printing very large (more than 10x) I'd worry about the Setopla, especially since our setups might differ enough to matter. The Seipla would certainly work. I use mine with a 63mm Nikkor.

I have two nearly identical lensboards (functionally the same). One is marked "Siepla 75" in white lettering on the side. The other has the 5545-2 number like yours. The printed lettering on the front edge is worn off on both of mine. Mine are both standard 39mm thread.

I think yours is the same depth as mine. You can get close to 35mm measuring from the front of the mounting flange or about 29mm measuring from the back of the mounting flange to the back of the board. It looks like the actual amount of recess is about 30mm when compared to the standard lensboard.

I've got some extra Componons around if you need something to fill that hole. I can probably even find one that says Durst on it, which will surely make the prints better.

All of the current lens panels are approximately 80 mm in outer diameter. Some are metal and some are plastic. Both can be used interchangeably. Recommended focal lengths can change somewhat from one enlarger to another due to the available length of bellows, but in general the
numbers given below will be true.

Siriopla 39 = plastic, relatively flat w/ 39mm threaded lens mount, usually used with 50-90mm lenses (essentially the same thing in metal is Lapla 39)

Siriotub 39 = plastic, recessed lens panel (recessed about 15mm), w/ 39mm threaded lens mount, for short lenses usually 35-50mm (same thing in metal is Setopla 2839)

Vegatub 39 = plastic, w/ 39mm threaded lens mount, extended lens panel (40mm extension) generally used for 100-105mm lenses. Includes a red filter on an extension arm so the filter can swing under the mounted lens. (Normal red
filters would not be able to fit in front of the lens with their short mounting shafts.)

Flaring = plastic lens mount adapter to fit 25mm threaded lenses into 39mm threaded lens panels.

Neriotub = plastic recessed lens panel approximately 40mm recessed) w/ 39mm threaded lens mount, for use with 28-35mm enlarging lenses. Metal equivalent is Seipla.

Lapla 39, Lapla 42 Lapla 50 = metal, flat lens panel threaded as indicated by the number. Generally used with 80-150mm lenses. Plastic equivalent is Siriopla 39.

Setopla 2839 = metal, recessed (approx. 17mm) lens panel, w/ 39mm threaded lens mount, generally used with 35-50mm lenses. Plastic equivalent is Siriotub 39.

Seipla 7539 = metal recesses (approx. 33mm) lens panel, w/ 39mm threaded lens
mount, generally used with 28mm enlarging lenses. Plastic equivalent is
Neriotub.

Femotub = metal extension tubes for use with any of the above lens panels, to extend the bellows for closer focusing, when making reductions. It attaches to the lens stage of the enlarger, and then you attach the lens panel to the Femotub.

Roding 50 = metal extended lens panel for use with 135 - 150mm lenses with 50mm lens thread.

Thank you for the offer, but I'm also very very well stuffed with enlarging lenses. Their current prices on used market are to hard to resist.
