Hi all!

I recently came into possession a pair of Durst RCP50. Happily the tray has "RA4 B/W" printed on it, leading me to hope this is not a machine geared to EP/2. I've been doing RA4 printing in trays for years and this could be a nice step up if I can make it work. Anyone know how these rollers fit?

You might want to search through this sub-forum and the Color: Film, Paper and Chemistry sub-forum for posts discussing this processor - IIRC there are a few posters who have worked with/adapted/maintained them.

Thanks MattKing, I did a review of some of these this week. It was helpful to know, for example, that when first starting the machine, you want to run it with plain water in all baths (I did a preliminary wash first with Tetenal chem cleaner). I didn't find anything about how the gears fit to the rollers, but I'll keep looking. Thanks again for the reminder.

At first blush, it does appear that I'm missing some type of gear that should fit straight into the socket. I've found a supply of the thin rubber washers (these appear to keep solutions from dropping into the tray). If I had a photo of how these connect up and it's not possible to source them, 3d printing might be an option. That would be dramatically easier if I know what I'm looking for.

You may wish to reach out directly to some of the posters in those threads - using the "Start a Conversation" utility - and ask them if they have seen this thread anc are able to contribute to it.

I did figure out how the gears are driven. It's the red connectors on the opposite side of the photos I have showing the white connectors. What I was looking at are where the solutions pump out of. I was able to locate the red plastic connectors that connect the drive.
