Hi!

I have the opportunity to buy:
Durst Otohal 45 w/Otogra 45pin Registered Film Holder

Anybody with some experience on this equipment? Is there something I sould bring into consideration before buying it (like I need to buy other stuff to make it complete)?

I believe it is a pin registration system for 4x5 Neg system?

How does it compare to other systems like the one from Radeka Photography?

Thanks for answering!

Hello !
These things are as scarce as hens teeth...
They where intended to be used on a Durst Laborator 100 enlarger. I wonder if they can fit another enlarger.
You have to check that the two metal slides are present and that the glasses are OK (these are optically flat glass, so do not come cheap...)
LAst but not least, you will need to buy the punch which is called a MIVALO in Durst language... They show once on a while on*bay... but they are often expensive as a lot of people want one...
So shopping list :
OTOHAL and OTOGRA
Laborator 1000
MIVALO ...
A jewel or a trip to keep wife not complaining....

Now i bought it, the salesman told me its intended for L1200. I paid 100$ cnd for the thing, brand new. Maybe I can get someone to make the punch for me? It should not be too difficult.

Well,
It could fit the L1200. IDK as I do not own one L1200 !
As per the Mivalo, they show up once in a while on Ebay. So you may find one ... Keep your eyes open ! Making one is not as easy as it seems, specially if you never saw one open.
