Durst M605 B+W Head plug and other questions

I've had a Durst M605 colour for quite a while and it's served me very well, although I often thought that I can't achieve a true grade 5 with it like I can with my old but small and wobbly condenser enlarger and have been considering hunting down a B+W head.
So imagine my luck when browsing that big auction website late last night I saw an M605 black and white head. It wasn't exactly cheap but it wasn't breaking the bank, so I snapped it up.

It was only this morning that I looked at the pictures properly and realised that the lamp has a different plug on the end, it has a slim two-pin plug (I'm not well versed on plug types but I think it's a type C) on the end while my enlarger timers both take sockets for three pin kettle style plugs. I'm in the UK and the unit is from Germany.

Would I be able to simply replace the plug on the end for one that fits my timer?

My other questions is whether I need to use a transformer? I currently use a Durst TRA-305n for the colour head, but I'm guessing it isn't required for the black and white head.

I probably won't have the unit until Tuesday but I'd like to get as much info as possible so I can get everything ready over the weekend.

Thanks

Edit: I've just realised I've posted this in enlarging but maybe it should be in the darkroom equipment section, mods feel free to move

Hi,

Yes replace the plug to the one you need for your timer. You do not need the transformer the lamps you need run on 240 volts.

Hi hello. I also use a Durst M605 with a color head. Ans I'am very happy with it.
I am very curious about your experiences with a b/w head. Can you post your experiences here?
