Durst M35 enlarger - manual or operation instructions

Tengo una ampliadora Durst M35, también llamada Micromat, y me estoy volviendo loca con ella, pues es diferente a mis anteriores ampliadoras.....Por mucho que lo he buscado en la red, no encuentro el manual de Instrucciones.
He leido en algunos chats de esta página que alguien tuvo mi mismo problema.
Por favor necesito que alguien me ayude.

Rinnovo caldamente la mia richiesta di un manuale di istruzioni e di suggerimenti per l'utilizzo della luce puntiforme per un DURST M35 Micromat.

Hi Henry, today I acquired one of these wonderful machines and I can send you the manual but it’s too large to attach here. I have the concave mirror and the negative carrier that is supposedly immune to anti Newton rings. There are a number of very cool features I’ve never seen on another enlarger but the point source type light is most intriguing. The manual suggests it is actually a semi diffused bare bulb (projection type) so it’s not strictly point source. Mine is missing the diffusion disc but I am sourcing a frosted Perspex disc which should I hope work, if it doesn’t melt! I’ll be experiment with various LED bulbs too so that should be interesting, especially the so-called ‘Edison’ bare filament ones.

So I’ve been trying to set up my m35 but don’t have the diffuser that fits next to the condenser beside the lamp. Would someone kindly indicate what the original part is like. Is it frosted glass or milky or perhaps some sort of Perspex? The manual specifically warns against using ground glass as the texture would be visible on prints. Any tips appreciated!

I was just setting up a Durst M600 and was looking for the opal glass going in front of the lamp according to the manual.
At the bottom of the box I found a note from Durst saying that they have stopped supplying opal glass with the enlargers since opal lightbulbs were now commonly available. The opal diffuser was only for use with a regular lightbulb.
Could it be that you don't need a diffuser if you use an opal lightbulb?

Just a thought. I am sure that someone will have actual information about your enlarger.

(EDIT: I notice you mention a projector bulb in an earlier post. I guess what I just said does not apply to that enlarger)

Thanks Nitroplait. That is a fair assumption but it begs the question why the M35 has the complex system with concave mirror and diffusion. The manual states that the use of photocrescenta (opal) is recommended for very thin negatives. Such bulbs were readily available since before WW2. The fancy projection bulbs however were more recent though nowadays mostly out of production. If and when I find a good diffusion disc the next challenge is to find a halogen or possibly LED bulb that will work.
The mystery remains unsolved: what is the special quality of light that the M35 can produce with its unique (?) system? It’s certainly an entertaining journey to explore this machine’s idiosyncratic capabilities.

I think the idea behind the M35 was to yield high microcontrast, similar to the much later point-light head for the L 1200.

I am so glad to find such a lively discussion on the M-35 here. I am a pretty active digital photographer but am at the beginning of my analog journey. Last night I picked up an Durst M35 from a Goodwill of all places and I was hoping one of you fine souls could send me the manual since I will be completely lost without it. I don't have the permissions to send PMs on this site, but my email is {moderator's deletion off email}.

I look forward to seeing what can be done with my dad's extensive collection of negatives. Thanks!

I've recently picked up an M35 enlarger. I could figure out some basic things myself, but since I've never used an enlarger before, the manual would be a big help for me. I wonder if anyone could send it to me as well!
