Durst M 600 enlarger

Hello everyone !

I have ( as described in the title) an enlarger (Durst M 600). I just have one problem - if you lift up the red lid the whole upper part is supposed to go up (so you can move the negative film). This doesn't work. It comes down again. I was replacing the upper part again but it doesn't help. and I can't find a description on google. could someone please help me ??

If you are expecting it to latch and stay up, it won't. You raise it, slip the carrier in, then let it down.

That´s a feature on the 605, not on the older 600 a.f.a.i.k.
