Would a German import of the Durst Laborator G 139 which has the long round cylinder two-prong 240 Volt plug connect with a plug type adaptor end female and function without issues connected on the other end male to a U.S.A. 30 Amp 250 Volt NEMA 6-30P 2P 3W Plug Straight Blade Industrial Grade Grounding Angle - (9630-P)? This U.S.A. plug socket is sometimes used with the worst of summer heat for a 250 Volt 30 AMP NEMA 6-30 GROG for a large Friedrich A/C commercial window unit floor plug.

There's a frequency mismatch between the intended supplies (50 vs 60 Hz), so perhaps a retrofit of some internals would be in order? If only a lamp is being powered then it seems possible without modification.

Basically appliances with just incandescant lamps run at any frequency. However when a transfomer is involved, the frequency may affect the saturation of the transfomer, but only if it is already designed at the verge of its application without play for frequency alteration.

Durst Fan 300 for Durst CLS 300 Color Head & BWL Head on Durst Laborator G139 B&W etc. - I would guess this would be more problematic adapting to a USA plug? Is this the preferred fan for the Durst Laborator G 139 using it in the USA?
