I recently purchased a Laborator 900 and it arrived in many pieces. The chassis came separate to the column and had an awful job trying to attach the top plate to the column. After getting it on, I am left with a lot of slack left over on the 2 metal straps that attach to the front of the column. I have tried rotating the spring with great force but it doesn’t stay and the straps are not flush.
Does anyone have any idea on how to tighten up the straps? I have posted a picture below. Thanks in advance
