Hi, everyone.

I have a Durst Laborator 1200 that a picked up a while ago - and have been trying to make sense of a few of its features lately.

Can anyone tell me what the two red knobs are on either side of the unit?

and on the other side:

My understanding from the manual is that at least one is a opening lever so you can move the negative around while it is in the negative carrier. I have the Duest Femoneg - and those two red knobs don't seem to affect anything to do with that carrier.

Thanks for any information.

They are connected to a pair of locking pins - Move the levers to disengage the pins and you can then rotate the whole head assembly.

Ah - thanks. Now that I stare closer at the PDF manual, I see that is the case. Much appreciated.
