So, they appear to have the same function (allowing reductions when printing), but why 2 items that do the same thing? I see that the Dutub is adjustable in length while the femotub is fixed in length.

Anyone have any insight into this? Maybe the Dutub replaced the Femotub at some point? Or do they both serve a good, independent purpose?
 
Manual of the L1200 said:
FEMOTUB: Lens tube for same size reproduction and reductions
DUTUB2: Lens tube for extreme reduction ratios

That "same size" applies to usage with a 150mm lens.
