Just a heads up for Aussie Apuggers. I have just bought a L1200 Durst and the seller also has a second one with a colour head and controller. He wants $400.00 for it, which seems like a bit of a deal. I will be picking mine up in the next week or two (it's at Emerald near Melbourne) so if you are interested I can contact him on your behalf or give you his number.

I am dead keen for a colour head version. Currently have a B&W only version of the same thing. $400 is too good to say no to. Will PM you as well Tony.

Andy, if you end up with the colour L1200 will you keep your B&W one as well? If not, I'd be interested in buying it. I'm using an Ilford 500 head on my L1200 and the lamp position has to be changed when I swap from 4x5 to the smaller formats. I'd rather have two enlargers set up permanently so that I'm always ready to go.

Bugger, another L1200 that is not in Adelaide. If I wasn't so lazy I'd post in the 'Wanted' section

Andy may be convincing his minister of finance to buy this. I really must tell mine that I have bought the other one....she just might notice it!

My minister of finance approved me buying my L1200, but only after I told her that I would find a new home for the previous L1200. All I need to do now is to commission the new one.

Paul I would be interested in finding a new home for the old L1200.

My darkroom is not big enough for two of these babies.

Paul I would be interested in finding a new home for the old L1200.

My darkroom is not big enough for two of these babies.

Fortunately mine is, although I will then need to move the Beseler 45 on to a new home. As much as I like the Beseler's motorised head and the negaflat carrier for 4x5, once I got the L1200 the precision of it all won me over. PM me when you are ready, or email at paulewins (at) optusnet (dot) com (dot) au
