hello friends! i d like to buy one motor base for my jobo drum 1520 , 1525 , 2840...which motor are the best? ilford or durst?

I hate to mess up your choices , but there are good no name options. I have a Simmard , a local importer to Canada of the 70's that works just fine. It see saws the drum as it rotates, and does not automatically reverse. I find the auto reversing base's switch is prone to arcing and failure with time.
