There is a Durst c35 for sale near here which I am interested in. Can it be converted to take 60x60 in a diy fashion? I don't suppose the kits are available nowadays.

Unfortunately No conversions for the little guy. Well, none that I've ever seen*.

* I've been wrong before and wouldn't be surprised etc.............

there was a conversion kit, but the chances of finding one would be small. With Durst naming, it would most likely have '66' in the name, but I can't recall it. Actually, a bit of sniffing around turns up this http://www.jollinger.com/photo/cam-coll/manuals/enlargers/durst/Durst_C35.pdf The 6x6 conversion kit is calle dthe MEKIT 65, which consisted of the 6x6 mixing box, a 6x6 neg carrier and a 75/4.5 Neotaron lens. Doesn't list the mixing box with a seperate code.

If your interested in enlarging 6x6, then I think you'd be best getting a suitable one now rather than trying to cobble together a DIY soloution or trying to find a MEKIT 65 for a Durst C35
