two that spring to mind are http://agphotographic.co.ukandsilverprint.co.uk both sell 75 watt enlarging bulbs, which if my memory serves is the correct bulb for the durst c 35, I used to have one before I got into MF, and I think they are screw fit bulbs. You can also try Jessops if you have one local, as they also stock them, according to their website, http://jessops.co.uk

I have a Durst C35.
The lamp that came with the enlarger was a Reflector Spot Lamp R63 55W with an E26 screw .
When this failed I replaced it with a R63 60W ES Reflector Spot Lamp which worked well.
The replacement lamps came in packs of two from poundland.
Next time it needs replacing I may try a 50W ES R64 PAR20 Halogen Reflector Spot Lamp: http://www.consumablestore.co.uk/50w-r64-par20-halogen-reflector-spot-lamp-p-3863.html

I have a Durst C35 enlarger.
The standard bulb for it is a R63 55W ES Reflector Bulb.
I could not find that but used a R63 60w ES Reflector Bulb which worked perfectly well.

Just found this thread.. I've got a C35 enlarger for sale but it would be very expensive to ship it to the UK. The bulb that I have also is for 120v/60 hz. So I don't think this would work. The actual bulb for this model was called a MELLAMP55. Special size and thread as a normal house bulb would not fit the socket.. check out www.donsbulbs.com and see if they have any for the UK mains... the one's he lists for here in the States cost $55 EACH.

I use Durst c35. I bought it without bulb, I use it with a Philips 60 w reflector bulb. The original lamp in it was 55w, also the sticker on the back of the enlarger says max. 55w. Anyways, I get really long exposure times ( like 30+ sec for an average negative) so probably this lamp does not serve well. You have any (more) suggestions for an easy-to-get replacement that works good?
