Durst AC 707 B/W Enlarger

I have a Durst AC 707 B/W Enlarger that I have had for many years, but not used for at least 20 years. I want to erect it again but I dont seem to have the bolts that fix the column to the base board. Does anybody know the specification of these bolts?

Welcome!

Without knowing anything about this mounting, I am though sure the threads are metrical and of standard pitch. The rest you should be able to establich by means of a ruler or caliper. Or am I overlooking something?

I don't have a 707 either, but would suspect they are 8mm metric thread and about 60mm long.

But as AgX suggests, you should be able to work it out easily with a ruler.

A issue we have not yet hinted at is the head form. In case of a sunk screw the hole may not be big enough for a wrench socket, so in such cases you would be on the safe side with an Allen screw.

I just had a look at the manual. The mounting is most simple, no sunk screw heads, plain hexagonal heads, you even do not need a wrench socket, just a spanner would be suffcient. For the length you may probe with a wire or such, the diameter should be clear from the hole diameter on the metal plate under the base.

Just go to your hardware store and buy several sets of screws, in dimensions closest to your probing.
The manual shows only 2 screws, but I think 3 are more likely.
