i helped some Photrio friends with above 8x10 conversion kit
i was asked so make an over the lens filter holder solution.
after some exprimentation i ended up with this :
a frame and a filterholder ( filmholder) just like on your 8x10 kit.
the frame is glued on top of the existing film holder frame (with very strong glue ie Tech7 - 3M marine silicone )
the std. snap on holders on the kit has too short threads on it you get longer versions with the kit.
also 2 light traps to insert in the holder frame if you choose to use the original filmholder for smaller formats..
i was concerned about the loss of light with the extra film/filterholder, but it is not a problem at all.
price is 90 euro plus shipping.
