Hello everyone, I'm new here and also new to film photography and this message board has already been indispensable!
After developing a few rolls of B&W film at home I feel drawn to printing some of the negatives at home. There's a Durst 1000CE in my area (Chicago) for $220. It comes with two sets of filters, a few lenses, condensers, couple of gralab timers, negative holders, an extra bulb, grain focuser, and a voltage regulator. Basically it seems it's got everything I need for printing other than the chemistry, trays, easel, and paper. I want something I can learn on and hopefully "grow" with as I get the hang of printing and maybe move on to a shooting with a larger format camera (right now I only shoot 35mm). So yeah, I wonder if this one's a good one to get for a complete beginner and if that's a good price for it.
Would love any kind of advice you folks might have! Thanks!
