Duaflex II for a buck

I picked up an extremely clean and functional Duaflex at a yard sale yesterday. Other than a minor dusting, it is perfect. Is it easier to respool 120 film, or can I just try to stuff a roll of 120 into it? This thing is a beauty, and I just ordered a brick of plus X to shoot.I'm very anxious to go out with this doll!

Rick, you'll probably need a 620 take-up
spool but it can't hurt to try to load a 120
roll into the film chamber. I shoot Brownies
and I've found that some (e.g., the Brownie
Hawkeye) will readily accept 120 rolls while
others (e.g., the 1930s Six-20 from the UK)
can be made to accept 120 rolls with some
minor modifications.

It came with a take-up spool, I borroweda take-up spool from my cousins Yashica D its a very snug fit, but does fit. Now I'm really excited. I checked out the Click Hamilton link, very impressive. This camera is zone focusable, and has three aperture settings, 8 - 11 - 16 , all designed around ASA 100 and 125 speed film, so I'm guessing the shutter speed is around 1/100 or 1/125 second. Thanks for the info.

If you're not developing your own film, don't forget
to ask your lab to return the spool to you -- it's not
so easy to locate 620 spools. Figure about 1/30th
sec. for the shutter speed, and remember that the
f-stop sizes are strictly aspirational -- trial and
error will get you to a proper exposure with these
cameras.
