Dry Plate Photography
Hi,
I've started up blogging about my Dry Plate Photography work again. My focus has been on just getting started by pouring plates, then drying them became a problem, then finding out what the ISO was and still is an issue.
Comments are active so I can get some help as I'm all by myself doing this.
Even so, now I can coat big plates. An 8x15 was coated with Liquid Light and is ready to be exposed. But first, test 4x5 plates will be made to determine the correct exposure and development times.
Dry plate is all I do. I have a Vageeswari camera collection with book form plate holders. Now that I am able to coat big plates I'll be able to use them.
Some day, after I can shoot Liquid Light correctly with the big plates - 8x15, 10x12, 12x15 - I'll try making emulsion.
Stop by from time to time and see how I'm coming along.
