Does anyone know if the D&K/Seal thermostat still available new for the 160/210/500 presses will fit/work in the Bogen/Technal 560? There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there about the Bogen press. My 560 is working fine but I fear the thermostat will fail some day so I'd love to have a replacement on hand just in case.

Yes, I could open up my press and have a look, but I'm a strong adherent to the philosophy of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Just write D&K, they should know. The folks there are always very helpful. I also think we should not mess with these old machines while they're operating correctly.

I had a look at your Bogen press and compared it to my Seal 210. Looks like both presses turn off automatically when the set temperature is reached. Correct?

The difference is the Seal has a scale that shows the temperatures going up and down. I doubt if these two brands are compatible. However, it is possible these brands shared the same supplier for certain parts.
