Wow.....i guess i should say a prayer every night, and ask God to please protect Ilford (and the other manufactures i am not familiar with) from any harm.

I feel like everybody drives a car powered by XYZ, but some how, a few companies still refine gasoline for those of us for whom motoring has become a Hobby/Art Form

Is that Petrol you are putting in your car.?
Yes.
Didn't know you could still buy that stuff...?!
You can...mostly on line.
Jesus, what happens if they stop making it.?
I know...i worry about it often, and discuss it all the time on Analog Motor .Com.....me and the other Ten Thousand People in the world that still drive a gas powered car.

That is new to me!
You mean the B&W APX100 box is marked "Made in Japan"?
Or is it you are mixing things up? It is the colour negative and the slide films that are made in Japan.

I am mixing things up, it seems. I found a new-style APX 100 canister and all it says is "Made in the EU".

Well I wouldn't know. That's why I'm asking. I would guess maybe Germany and the UK. But I've heard it's super cheap there.

In Germany rebranded Fuji CN-135 was at 0.80 €. But these times are gone with the end of house-brands. Now it is a multiple.

Sainsburys stores in the UK were getting rid of Fuji Superia Xtra 400 at 50p a roll, and now they only stock disposable 35mm cameras. I bought all the rolls I could find even though they were long past the expiry date.

I've seen some Boots stores recently with multipacks of Fuji C200 24 exp on the reduced shelves working out at 50p per roll, and they still had a long date. I was tempted but didn't bother as I'd bought loads of the stuff when it was 50p for 3 rolls in Tesco a while back.

Is Fuji still manufacturing film for third parties?

I read an article a few months ago where a third party stated that their manufacturer no longer made third party film. The manufacturer wasn't stated.

Yes, Fuji still makes 3rd party film. If the film is marked, "Made in Japan", then it's Fujifilm.
