Do you lump all photographers together as perverts, terrorists and pedophiles, too?
If drone users are so careless about safety, perhaps you could provide evidence about all the injuries they're causing?
I rather see them as ignorant.
Several near misses with manned aircrafts have been reported in Europe. And several european air safety authorities are alert; new restrictions have already been passed.
I assume many drone owners rather see them as toy and not as something out of the world of aircrafts and thus not relate those rules to their drones. And seemingly legislation is ambiguous, thus those initiatives for specific regulations.
Drones won't be banned,...

....Concerning other issues the discussion still goes on.
I am more concerned with privacy issues. If you were to point a camera into my windows, I have legal options. When you fly over my home I do not. What we need is affordable emp devices or at least scramblers to disable these devices. Perhaps the legal right to shoot them down? And yes, I am serious.

So when you almost get in an auto accident due to another driver's recklessness, are you willing to ban all automobiles?
Given the potential for drones to get bigger and better and the tragedy in Paris last Friday I'd be amazed if serious thought has not been given or is not being given right now to restrictions on such things.
I think the days of Amazon drones delivering parcels might now be some way away

Question: Have you ever seen a drone video where you can actually see what's on the other side of the window glass?
Didn't think so.
Just more paranoia. Just more babble equating drone operators as perverts.
.........Where I live, you do not have the right to take a picture of me.....even in public.............

Yes, of course there are jerks and perverts who will do that. But most drone pilots just want to have some fun... and most do it safely.

+1, banning something just because a few people used it non responsibly is not the answer. Just because a few idiots do something stupid with a drone or (insert other device here) is no reason to take them away from everyone.
I did not propose banning all drones. No, I rather see that any drone operator who does something stupid or dangerous be euthanized on the first offense.
When I was ten years old I realized that the world would be a better place is only people who think like I do would be the ones to be in power.

So if we we transpose this logic to a different scenario... let's say some dumb kid who drives home one night from a party and is just enough inebriated to be over the limit but thinks he's being safe... should be euthanized on the first offense? Half the kids in the US would be dead already.
