. I had a childhood dream of one day going to NYC and being a famous photographer.
Thanks Mr. Bill. That is an interesting quote which I'll try to remember. On a similar thread, I once read inscribed into a wall at a military school "Strive to become. Not to acquire." bkWelcome to photrio. My own dream was to be a photojournalist, and ideally work for Life Magazine; all my younger years revolved around learning as much as possible towards that end. In hindsight I was sort of lucky that they went under before I became too entrenched in that sort of thing.
FWIW I remember reading something, as a high school kid, that always stuck with me. It was, "Don't you wish, that when you are old and retired, that you could turn around and sell all of your experience for what you had to pay for it?"
Hope you have a good time on this website.
The license plates say "Beautiful British Columbia". Is there an ugly British Columbia?

Remember: Old guys walk slow. I hope that you travel lite. bkWe've got him trapped on three sides! What should we start squeezing him for? Maybe he'll pack all our gear to Cape Scott for us?
