Drain Hose replacement for acp 302

Hello all,
This is my first Thread here.
Just building a darkroom for color printing and i just buy second hand a ACP 320 print processor. and i realize was linking when i was making some rinsing-cleaning.
One of the hose drain rubber need to be change, and i wonder this days which kind of hose replacement i can buy (i already contact thermasphot for the replacement) but take time to have it change.
I disassemble myself the machine. so i wonder what kind of hose to buy (LD-PE - polyethylene, silicon or just rubber). and which kind of glue to fix the hose under the tankbloc (polyethylene ?-PU).

Welcome Steve,

Pretty much anything will probably work but silicone is cheap enough, chemical resistant and can be attached with silicone sealant which will be durable but you will still be able to remove it.

Does it need to be glued? many hose fittings will accept a hose clamp that can be loosened later if the hose needs to be removed. Also dip the end of the hose in very hot water before slipping it over the fitting, this lubricates and also loosens the tubing a bit so it will slip on more easily.

Steve, after reassembling the racks and BEFORE operating the machine for the first time, feed a sheet of paper through boths racks manually (turning the main drive cog on the rack) to make sure everything moves freely. Also, make sure to level the machine correctly before operating it. Do you have a manual for the ACP302? Good luck! John

Well no, i just have information i found on the 200 and instruction with the fujimoto (very good manual)... this is all i found around.

I have a couple of these... One is a parts unit. I've taken them apart to adjust gears, epoxy cracks in the tub, and for cleaning. I don't recall whether these are just glued or clamped, but many of the interior hoses used plastic locking clamps... The one thing I'd say is, if the machine is ticking or sounds like it's binding, don't ignore it... I've had to adjust the drive gears as they've loosened and started skipping.. I've also had the paper feed wrong and bind the whole assembly... I'm by no means an expert but feel free to send any questions...
