Hi, can anybody tell me a trick that how can I shoot a double exposure with my beloved texas leica? The shutter cannot be released before you wind up the film. Thanks for your help.

It's possible but inconvenient. Set the shutter speed to T, fire the shutter, make as many exposures as you like with a lens cap or a front mounted auxiliary shutter. Move the shutter speed ring off T to close the shutter. Wind on to the next frame.

Maris, thanks for your support.
The solution with the shutter speed is very uncomfortable. Do you know how could I control the shutter speed for each exposure?

With a different camera, one that was designed with this possibility in mind. I'm not trying to be rude, but the designers of the Fuji never intended for this use. It was a camera designed for taking photographs of tour groups.

The Fuji GW690 is a simple camera with the film advance lever cocking the shutter and winding the film forward. There is no internal way of separating these mechanisms to permit double exposures. The second problem is that the frame counter also advances each time the shutter is cocked. After the frame counter limit (4, 8, or 16 exposures depending on roll length) the film has to be taken out of the camera. External double exposures, lens cap or auxiliary shutter, is the only way I know possible. Yes, very uncomfortable!

I've had the ii and iii versions of this camera. I know of no "normal" way to do an intional double exposure.
