You are looking for parts. You found it , one that could offer the parts you need. Back to your working table, you found it almost repairable.
So, Would you still going to make it as donor?
Or, trying hard to repair it? (And leve the waiting one still in the waiting list? )
There is an AP Pentax survived from a great fire and was treated as parts. I found it accidentally from junks. After some quick cleaning.I found it is o, just a few parts missing. So I put it into waiting list and waited for years for parts.
Today I came across an early Pentax H2. It has got all parts I wanted for AP. I thought it has lost the shutter curtains and unrepairable but later it is not. The old shutter curtains just lost their glue and rolled up at the left side.it is a easy fix and then it could come back to live.
I am now in-between an don't sure what to do next.
There already is -- kind/sorta. It's the regular EBAY categories but with items listed with the PARTS/REPAIR designation. I list stuff -- i.e., lenses, etc. that are in good cosmetic/optical shape, but need some TLC -- all the time for 99¢. Plenty of other people do too. I've found some winners there that only needed a little "help" -- but like any "Bargain Bin", it takes time hunting around.
