Does this affect us?

Short answer: no.

Long answer: not in the immediate future, unless "film" is now part of the "Business Products", instead of the "Consumer Products" branch.
In the long term, expect price increases, unless there's a return of 99% of the Western world to using film only.

Yes I know that prices will go up in the future. What is a graphics art film?

"Graphics Arts" is a term for "printing" so GA film is things like Litho negative, proofing products, Photo composition film, possibly including printing plates. whatever your local Commercial printer and book manufacturer may use.

Some use graphics arts materials to make certain specialized darkroom products - things like enlarged separation negatives for colour carbon transfer.

Of more general concern is the fact that any decrease in coating volumes has the potential of decreasing economies of scale for the entire coating plant.

It is not good, Prices are gone high.
It is very bad for graphic arts..
