Does the rollei 6008 integral need a circular polarizer?

I was wondering whether the 6008 integral needs a circular polarizer or a linear one is good enough - I read that linear polarizers interfere with some metering mechanisms.

Yes linear polarizers will almost certainly give inaccurate readings so a polarising filter is the one to go for. That has been known for many years

96900 is the number for the Rollei polarizer for the 6008i and it is a circular type.
