Does anyone stock Ilfochrome paper in US?

OK I know this is the wrong forum but not everyone reads the product availability forum. I've only got 6 weeks where I know I'll have time to to print. I blew $200 on chemicals, and just mixed a fresh batch that has nowhere to go now. None of B&H, Calumet or Freestyle have paper in stock, and all say it could take 3 weeks to special order from England! Is there anyone else who might stock it? Looks like Adorama only carries 11x14 though I'll try them in the morning anyway...

you can try Photomark in phoenix az & Frank Green at Ciba Lab.
They can get you going .Let me know how it turns out

well he probably has the roll paper, but you can ask him
then you can call Wynit and thank them for the fine marketing
of Ilfochome poducts they have been doing
As you know none of the suppliers want to deal with it
and Wynit wont sell to just any one.

Yeah...you dont want to get me started on that. This is so frustrating to plan all year for this next month and half and get everything ready and find out now I have to wait for a boat from England. I should just become a pixelographer. Ilfochrome cant last very long on a drip feed.

Hi,
I don't mean to unsympathetic but I do wonder how in planning for a year you forgot to order any paper. You also don't say what sizes you need. I called Wynit last week for a customer and they had stock (at least in the SKU's I was interested in) so I think your chances of getting the paper in a timely manner are good. If you need a someone to run down availability on a particular size you can PM me.

I had a couple hundred sheets of paper in my freezer. Its no good anymore. To be fair Freestyle did say on Saturday they would check with Wynit and that it "could" take 3 weeks, but it would take till Tuesday to even get a reply. Both Calumet and B&H said it WOULD take 2-3 weeks (which in hindsight I shouldnt have taken at face value since nobody knows anything any more about Ilfochrome, but I did take it at face value).

I'm looking for 8x10 right now.

I called Adorama. Not surprisingly, they haven't stocked any size or shape of Ilfochrome in over a year.

It was probably already close to the end of its shelf life when I froze it 7-8 years ago.
