Not having much luck finding current 3x3 glass filters for B&W. NDs I see but not the B&W coloured range. Or is cutting 4x4 the only way these days ?

Just a bump, no takers on this topic, nobody knows if 3x3 filters are made by anyone ?

You can get pretty much anything custom coated; but that's expensive. Square acrylic resin filters are the more common option than square glass. Plenty of threaded round glass filters to choose from; but you already knew that.

I'm looking for it to fit into the slot of Rollei bellows shade to simplify matters. May get Cokin gelatine set and cut down. I have not seen resin type in this size either, but it's not easy to navigate these sites (Cookin/Lee etc.) they all play the name game, no easy tagging by size alone

Why not just use a step-up adapter to the 4x4 size? Cokin doesn't make gelatine filters, more likely optically inferior polyester ones; likewise thin Lee filters, which are certainly affordable and easy to cut. True Wratten gels have gotten quite expensive and are fragile.

I'm trying to have compendium hood on and not deal with screw ons, As it has back slot for filters I need to see if I can utilise it for that purpose. If not than I will have to look into adapting my Heliopan set t Bay VI (which is easy enough), but I like to have a hood for most cases.

You might try filterfind.net. Tim has found some excellent filters for me, and he is a pleasure to deal with.
Good luck!
