Does anyone know what this is?

This ad on Craigslist is for a roll film back for an RB67 but I have never seen any such item in any Mamiya literature or reference. It doesn't look like it would fit the RB... Any guesses what camera this should fit? http://charlotte.craigslist.org/pho/1467050828.html

Three were several of these manufactured, for various frame sizes, 6x7, 6x9, 6x6 etc. There was even one (a K series?) that covered 645, 6x6 and 6x9 all in one. The seller has not identified which one this is. The adapters ususally sell for the price of this whole unit, so the price is right.

Thanks for the info. I'm now wondering if there is (or was ever) a Mamiya system book that goes into detail about the various models along with historical background.

there is plenty of printed material about these things. I have an original manual that shows this film back and the adapters that mate it to the camera. There's this guy on the internet who has some of this stuff online you can download. I recall the site name being something like butkus. Maybe butkus.org?

Something you should know about this film back is the spools are offset, one forward of the film plane and one behind the film plane and this makes the film flatten up way better than any other configuration. For really curly films its a real extra benefit to have this film back.
