After discovering that all three of my Minox A's are giving incorrect shutter speeds, I'm planning on cleaning them. I know there are already a lot of threads about this here for other cameras. But I have a specific question for someone who has already done this with a Minox.
There is a very small spring in the hub on the underside of the large gear that appears to drive the escapement. Is this spring preloaded? If so, how much?
I don't want to remove the gear unless I know for sure that I can get it reinstalled correctly.
