I received this in an e-mail yesterday. Any thoughts? Anyone signed up with them?

Hello,

I found your listing in Photobox and subsequently looked at your portfolio. I am directly contacting photographers because I believe our new community and marketplace may be a great place for you to expand a fine art print sales business. You can stay on Photobox and sign-up for Imagekind, thus increasing your market and exposure.

Imagekind is the fastest growing artists’ community, print and frame-on-demand marketplace of its kind today. Professionals upload their print-ready files to free online galleries and have full control over prices and the royalties they earn on print sales.

You can easily check us out at www.imagekind.com and open a free gallery yourself.

I look forward to seeing your work selling in our galleries soon!

Cheers,

i don't have experience with imagekind, but i too have the emails.
i have visited their site and called them on the phone to learn a bit more about
them. they offer a unique product, while they do consist of pigment/ultrachrome prints,
they offer photographers a way to sell their work online.
they give their bottom line, and allow you to set prices for your prints, and they work
with a large west coast framing company with a very good reputation.

it sounds interesting enough...
but at the same time there are so many photographers,
painters, digital image makers, illustrators &C who are there,
i wonder how easy to find the needle (traditonalist) in the haystack...
